Mon, 28 Dec 2009 21:05:01 +0000 http://wordpress.org/?v=abc en hourly 1 New Album Art- The Congress EP http://daveklemencic.com/art/new-album-art-the-congress-ep http://daveklemencic.com/art/new-album-art-the-congress-ep#comments Tue, 15 Dec 2009 16:15:33 +0000 Dave http://daveklemencic.com/?p=424 I’ve had the pleasure of designing the album art for The Congress’ new EP, which will be distributed at an early release party on Dec 26th at Emilio’s on Broad Street in Richmond.  The Congress, the newest musical endeavour by Scott Lane and Jonathan Meadows, has been playing in clubs and bars all around Colorado and Virginia.  Tracing their musical roots to Richmond bands of days gone by such as the Grove, Meadows and Lane relocated to Colorado just over a year ago to pursue their musical dreams in a new setting and have found great success while touring there.

The album art features multiple views of my samurai painting (seen here) and a great photograph by Matt Greer on the reverse face.  Be sure to check these guys out, they’re a great blend of American rock, soul and funk music and it’s music you can keep coming back to.  Cheers!congressalbumcover
